Dashni Morad: She’s Back!

Let me re-introduce (after more than 5 years of silence) Dashni Morad: a very talented Kurdish singer, dancer and model. Dashni Morad (also searchable by Dashni Murad and Dashne Murad) lives in Iraqi Kurdistan, an autonomous region of northeastern Iraq.
In 2007 we produced some first images here in The Netherlands, to profile her as an artist and model. That paid off: she became instantly famous and she became a source of inspiration and hope for many people, especially for the people of Iraqi Kurdistan.
In 2008 Dashni Morad and I did a second photo shoot here in Zwolle, The Netherlands. The photo above is one of these images. I re-developed the image with new color techniques: I choose my custom Dual-Illuminant color profile, generated by the X-Rite ColorChecker Passport software for that camera. The result: way better color reproduction – more vivid, while the new Adobe Camera RAW Engine delivers more clarity, detail and dynamic range. So, the image above is like new (quality wise).
